ReviewOn Jan 2, 2006 Nyx Midnight said: I loved the Nelo/Griffon story, even if it is a little bloody. It does show though that a lot of characters in the DMC universe seem to have bizarre relationships XD I can't say much about the two other stories, sadly. Of course, though, the cuteness of the blissful baby face slays me every single time I see it. DetailsRating: NC-17 Pairing(s): Nelo Angelo/Griffon, Vergil/Dante Plot: This doujinshi is a collection of 4 short stories, 3 of them I think were previously published as little extras for a con and not in an actual doujinshi. The first one, Ultra Violet, is about Griffon, who stole Vergil's body from his grave for his master Mundus to resurrect and use. Spending time training with his master's new right hand devil, however, as allowed Griffon to fall in love, or at least lust, with the devil who's the spitting image of Sparda, his ex-lover. He decides to act on these urges when Mundus sends Griffon to order Nelo to go out and eliminate the devil hunter Dante, certain that his crush is about to be slaughtered. I must admit I did not understand the second one, Can't Stop Loving You, much. We see Dante being a slob and falling asleep with a Playboy on his face while Vergil cleans and collects works of art. Then Dante steals one of Vergil's old, fine artsy plate and ... uses it to give milk to a starving stray kitten. The third one, Eternity, is... not too clear to me either. Sparda is asking his two children which broke what apparently is the penis off one of his antique statues. It's Dante, of course, awkward, clumsy child that he is, but Vergil takes the blame in his place and apologizes, although I think Sparda wasn't fooled by the tactic. Later, the boys are eating donuts, and Dante sneezes all over Vergil. The latter, unfazed, takes out his handkerchief and wipes Dante's nose. Dante apologizes, and Vergil tells him it's all right, it's what big brothers are for (I think). Fast forward to the present, where an embarrassed Dante pokes Vergil out of his thoughts to tell him he broke one of his fancy vases, then apologize to a disappointed but resignated Vergil. This reminds Vergil of his clumsy but cute little brother as he was at 5 years old, and he forgives him, but Dante doesn't get out of it scott-free, I think... The fourth and last story, Can't Stop Loving You 2, is about babysitting, of all things :P After showing us Dante frying meat in a pan with Ifrit and Vergil pointing out Ifrit was never intended for that, we see Dante bringing home a little baby girl, much to Vergil's dismay, who freaks out, demanding to know where Dante found the child and warning him they are not going to raise a baby together. Dante laughs, asking what the hell he's thinking. Turns out the girl is Enzo's daughter, and they're only going to babysit her. Ensues Vergil and Dante trying to decipher the instructions on a Baby Phantom brand can of milk, Vergil feeding the baby, and Dante singing his mother's song/lullaby to the crying baby to calm her down, resulting in probably the cutest image I've ever seen in a Fire House doujinshi, perhaps even all the doujinshi I've owned: the little baby snuggling Dante with a blissful ^.^ face. This seems to depress Vergil, though, who already sees Dante going off to marry and start a family. External LinksPowered by MediaShelf. Fugue
